Dunkirk

No Dad hasn't been blown off course he is camping in a place called Dunkirk which is between Faversham and Canterbury. He had no trouble finding today's camp site ... it could be that there is a pub next door to the site!!!! He even got to the site just after lunch! It must be the thought of a pint.

Today's route took him back through Meopham so he nipped back into the Chemist to thank them again for helping him find last night's camp site. He then followed small lanes through to Luddesdown, Cuxton where he picked up the A228 through to Rochester http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rochester,_Kent. He then crossed over the river Medway and headed on the A2 through Chatham, Gillingham and onto Sittingbourne. He stopped in Faversham http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faversham for lunch and had a wander round the European street market.

No cooking tonight as he is off to pub for a meal and a pint.

Tomorrow he is heading Dover/Folkestone way.

PS The glasses he found yesterday have been cleaned of dirt and dust (they must have been there awhile) and are now "fit for purpose". Apparently they are proper wrap around cycling glasses so to the person that nicked his £2.00 glasses ... you did him a favour.
